Once upon a time there were two fairies who lived in a big city, and just happened to be twins. Most days they were sweetly angelic, but they certainly could be mischievous as well!
In the realm of the fae they were called different names than they went by in preschool. Each had chosen her own fairy name. They called themselves Morgan and Maybelle.
Morgan, with her strawberry blonde hair, was born a few minutes before her sister and felt the need to tell this to everyone she met. All her school mates were declared her best friends and she sure loved a good chat. Singing any time or place, her voice ringing out would oft be heard above all the rest.
Now, fair haired Maybelle was a bit more reserved when first meeting new folks, but once comfortable she’d tightly hug anyone in sight. An observer by nature, an artist by hand she nimbly drew family, friends and the neighbor’s wee dog. In fact she loved all canines, from the big to the small.
Although very different, both sisters would agree that playing dress up was the best game of all. A magical place they loved to visit was Let’s Dress Up on the Upper East Side of the city. This enchanting realm, filled with dresses, crowns and wands all divine, was always aflutter with mini princesses who knew how to accessorize. With friends new and old the petite attendees would dress to the nines. After being sprinkled with fairy dust they would daintily sit down, quite bright eyed as they sampled pink tea and goodies galore.
After such busy days, you would think these twin fairies would fall asleep fast in their beds. Well, no such luck. They preferred to giggle and play.
