The color pink represents hope, compassion and love. It is thought that people who love the color pink are warm, loving and nurturing. So, why not pamper your loved ones with pink candy coated strawberries? Whipping up this delectable treat is not only fun, but creative as you can decorate them to your heart’s desire.
Ingredients
1 quart strawberries
1 (12oz) bag pink candy melts
Edible beads, pearls and glitter
First, wash and dry the strawberries. Then either using a double boiler or a microwave melt the pink candy pieces. Dip the berries in the melt, coating most of the fruit. Next, over a plate, sprinkle the edible beads, pearls or confetti onto the coating. Let the candy melt harden, then serve.
(The edible beads, pearls and glitter can be consumed but I always tell people to be carful with their teeth when eating…either remove them or let them melt in your mouth!)
