There is just something about yards of taffeta and tufts of tulle that captivate me. I get dreamy over sculptural fondant. Give me a box, preferably ornate, filled to the brim with faux pearls, antique rhinestones and shimmering paillettes and I’m a happy gal. I’ll spend many a free moment rummaging through it, imagining what could be created with all the shiny baubles.
I’ve never been someone who sighs contentedly while standing in front of a solid mono color gallery canvas. My favorite painting of all time is Jean-Honoré Fragonards’ The Swing. I guess I’m just a Rococo kind of girl. Part of me wishes I could be a bit more minimalistic, but it’s just not in my makeup. What would I do without my stash of shoes, boxes of Victorian style stationary and enough fancy teacups to open a cafe?
So, I’ll lift my fancy teacup, filled with a cinnamon chamomile delight, and toast to all the historical artists and their muses, as well as contemporary creators, whose works my eyes have feasted upon. Cheers, I am quite grateful for the banquet!
We had a beautiful dream and that was all.

Every day, I wish to make the world more beautiful than I found it.

Beauty is a manifestation of secret natural laws, which otherwise would have been hidden from us forever.

Cinnamon Chamomile Tea
Ingredients
1 tablespoon dried chamomile flower tea (or a chamomile tea bag)
2 cinnamon sticks
First put the chamomile tea into an infuser, and place in a teacup. Next boil water. When it is hot, pour the water into the cup over the infuser. Place the cinnamon sticks into the cup. Steep for five minutes, then remove the chamomile filled infuser.
Serves one. Repeat steps for the desired number of cups to serve.
(Removing the cinnamon sticks may make it easier to drink)
